Movie Poster Catalog

Interface of the movie poster catalog platform.

📌 Overview

This platform was designed for a cinema to digitize its physical poster stock and make it easily searchable. The goal is to provide customers with a seamless interface to explore the collection, filter for rare items, and prepare their reservations before visiting the cinema in person.

  • Favorites System: Users can heart specific posters to easily find them later via a dedicated view.
  • Dynamic Pricing Management: Visual badges (e.g., yellow badge for damaged posters at reduced prices) and specific pricing for rare or vintage items.
  • Interactive Detail View: Complete breakdown of available formats and associated prices for each film.

🚀 Installation & Deployment

The project is designed to be lightweight and easily deployable across various infrastructures:

  1. Local: Dependency management via npm install and execution using Node.js.
  2. Hosting: Pre-configured for rapid deployment on Vercel, or within Docker containers and virtual machines.

📈 Development & Maintenance

The project follows an iterative approach where user feedback is central:

  • Bug Tracking: Use of GitHub Issues to centralize feature requests and technical fixes.
  • Accessibility: A simplified interface to ensure ease of use, even for users who are less familiar with digital tools.
